ISES will organize “Forums” as well as technical sessions at the joint conference. Papers of similar topics may be combined into a “Forum” which will be structured to allow the presenters to serve as panelists, with significant interaction from the audience. Authors who prefer to organize a forum should indicate so in their abstract, and include suggested speakers and topics. Abstracts submitted as forum proposals will be graded separately from abstracts submitted as technical papers or posters. Abstracts submitted under the Special Themes may be organised into forums, these themes are:

• Renewable Energy Cities
• Renewable Energy for Mobility
• Community Power Programs
• Sustainable Practices in the Mining Industry
• History of Solar Energy
